Calapooia Brewing and Vivacity Spirits present the first event in the Dog Days of Summer series, happening Thursday, June 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the covered outdoor atrium at Calapooia Brewing, 140 Hill St. NE, Albany, Oregon.

Guests can enjoy themed food and drinks, games, and treats for both people and their pets. This family-friendly and pet-friendly event supports local canine-focused nonprofit organizations, beginning with Senior Dog Rescue of Oregon (SDRO).

The event includes a special “Yappy Hour,” during which $1 from every pint or cocktail sold will be donated to SDRO. Attendees can also take part in a dog-themed round of Music Bingo, with all proceeds from bingo card sales benefiting the rescue. Bingo cards will be available for $5 each (cash only) beginning at 4 p.m., with the game starting at 5 p.m.

Pets are welcome, but all animals must remain on leash. Guests are not required to bring a dog to attend.
